Karl Eibensteiner, founder of Lentia Enterprises Ltd., received a Chef
Apprenticeship in Linz, Austria. |
|
|
|
|
|
He then completed a Pastry Chef and Baker Apprenticeship in Munich,
Germany, and went on to numerous years of culinary experience in several
European countries before finally immigrating to Canada in 1967. |
|
|
|
|
|
Here, a vision was born to distribute fine food ingredients for bakeries,
restaurant and hotel kitchens. |
|
|
This led to the foundation of Lentia Enterprises Ltd. |
|
|
|
|
|
In 1981 Lentia Products was established to manufacture Bread Bases
and mixtures from concentrates and in 1986 the
brand was created. |
|
|
By the early 90s the business expanded to distribute spices and related
Products. |
|
|
|
|
|
The following years Lentia Enterprises Ltd. expanded further into the
Foodservice Industry with Asian spice pastes, frozen products and many
specialty items. |
