Karl Eibensteiner, founder of Lentia Enterprises Ltd., received a Chef Apprenticeship in Linz, Austria.
He then completed a Pastry Chef and Baker Apprenticeship in Munich, Germany, and went on to numerous years of culinary experience in several European countries before finally immigrating to Canada in 1967.
Here, a vision was born to distribute fine food ingredients for bakeries, restaurant and hotel kitchens.
This led to the foundation of Lentia Enterprises Ltd.
In 1981 Lentia Products was established to manufacture Bread Bases and mixtures from concentrates and in 1986 the  brand was created.
By the early 90s the business expanded to distribute spices and related Products.
The following years Lentia Enterprises Ltd. expanded further into the Foodservice Industry with Asian spice pastes, frozen products and many specialty items.
Today Karl Eibensteiner, Managing Director of Lentia Enterprises Ltd. together with a group of dedicated people, the  Team, are the essence of this company.
